How can it be? You see me.... One of the things very important to the Charles River Vineyard is to take care of those who are mostly invisible in our society. It is in showing love to "the least of these," that we become the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing a little bit of heaven to earth. It's all part of living that extraordinary life! We have committed ourselves to caring for those in our community as well as some very special children in India. ELDERLY HOUSING We regularly reach out to our neighbors at the elderly housing location on Weston Road. Join us any time. FOOD PANTRY All donated items go to the Wellesley Food Pantry SOCKS DRIVE Special thanks to everyone who donated warm socks and gloves to distribute to help those who are homeless make it through a tough winter. COMMUNITY SERVICE Various efforts to serve our community. BRIDGE HOUSE The Bridge House is an in-resident program for men in recovery. If you're interested in making part of a dinner for about 35 men once a month contact: kimjogden@aol.com "I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink.. I needed clothes, and you clothed me. I was in prison, and you visited me. Whatever you did for the least of these, you did for me." -- Jesus "We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop." -- Mother Theresa REMEMBER YOUR LOCAL FOOD PANTRIES |
